Next Business Energy supports many Australian businesses through their energy, but we also like to show our support in other ways.

Next Business Energy are proud to announce that we are sponsoring Pink Sports Day… with a splash of Blue.

Pink Sports Day

Held in Port Douglas, this event is aimed at supporting the fight against breast and prostate cancer.

A charity luncheon will be held at the Crocs Port Douglas football clubrooms from 11.30 am Saturday, 7th May 2022. Guests will receive pink bubbles on arrival and throughout the day, with the Reserves match playing from 12-2pm, followed by the Seniors game at the Port Douglas Sports Complex.

This year’s charity event will be shared by two charities, with the funds raised from the day to be split 50/50 amongst them. The beneficiaries of this year’s charity event are Pink in the Tropics and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

A Breast Cancer Support Group, Pink in the Tropics supports and raises funds and awareness for women in the Far North Region. Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia is dedicated to reducing the impact of prostate cancer on Australian men, their partners and families.

Money will be raised through the luncheon, onsite auctions and raffles, as well as through ticket sales for the day. There are limited tickets available for $70 via Trybooking, so make sure to book your ticket quickly!

A major sponsor

As the major sponsor for the event, we want to help promote awareness for both charities, and the amazing and important work they do.

We have been providing energy to businesses in Far North Queensland for over 12 months, and at Next Business Energy we strive to be involved in the community and support businesses and charities where we can.

If you’re looking for better rates for your business energy, we provide a free comparison, so you can see if you could save. You can either upload a bill directly via our website, or fill in your details to request a call back, and even better, if you sign up now we’ll donate $50 to Pink in the Tropics Breast Cancer Awareness Group and $50 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
