Last year, Next Business Energy participated as sponsors for Pink Sports Day, an event aimed at supporting the fight against breast and prostate cancer.
This year, we’re doing it again through our parent company, Next Green Group.
Pink Sports Day Event
Last year, Pink Sports Day managed to raise $17,500 towards the cause, and over $70,000 since 2016. This year we’re aiming to do even better!
Again, we will be hosting this year’s Pink Sports Day with a Splash of Blue charity lunch for breast and prostate cancer, followed by the Port Douglas Crocs AFL game.
Hosted on Saturday 13th May 2023 from 11:15 am, the event will begin at Salsa Bar & Grill, 26 Wharf St, Port Douglas, where participants will enjoy a two-course lunch before getting on a complimentary shuttle to the Crocs game.
With free admittance to the VIP section, participants will receive a glass of bubbles on arrival and throughout the day while they watch the Senior’s game at the Port Douglas Sports Complex.
Supporting charities
At Next Business Energy, we believe in supporting important causes and doing our part to help. We’re proud to sponsor the Port Douglas Pinks Sports Day, which is supporting Pink in the Tropics and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia in the fight against breast and prostate cancer.
Next Business Energy, through Next Green Group, is proud to uphold its commitment to supporting important causes through its participation as a sponsor for Pink Sports Day. As a company dedicated to corporate social responsibility, Next Business Energy values its role in giving back to the community and making a positive impact. This is not the first time Next Business Energy has been involved in supporting charitable causes, as the company has a history of involvement in various philanthropic initiatives. By sponsoring Pink Sports Day, Next Business Energy aims to align its values and mission with the goal of supporting breast and prostate cancer awareness and research.
