David has more than 35 years senior management experience in utilities in UK, Australia and Asia Pacific. During the last 20+ years in Australia, David has been responsible for the establishment of the electricity retail and energy services business of one of Australia’s largest energy companies, the founder of a successful electricity retailer based in Queensland and has assisted with a number of successful retail licence applications in various jurisdictions. In addition to providing energy industry advice, David has undertaken many consulting projects with the market operators, accounting firms and energy retailing and smart metering companies based in VIC, TAS, NSW and QLD. David is a co-founder of Next Business Energy and initially ran the business operations and put in place a strong platform for compliance and growth.
Thomas is a successful senior executive leader, who has held roles at CFO level within large, complex businesses across a wide range of industries. He has a solid track-record of success and, in particular, is recognised for his leadership, commercial acumen and pragmatic approach. He has delivered successful business improvement and major business transformation across a number of businesses and industries.
An experienced finance leader and CFO, his skills cover; commercial management, change and transformation, communication, strategy, financial management and control, governance and risk management, project management, transformation and restructuring and cost reduction. He builds strategies and works with teams to have a positive impact to the benefit of a business. His leadership ability has seen him be highly effective in leading through major change. Experienced in managing large teams, he is pragmatic and practical and works in a collegiate, team oriented way, bringing a high level of focus and energy.
Narisha is an experienced IT executive with a demonstrated history of leading the Information Technology function in various industries from medium businesses to multinational corporates.
As a senior management consultant, she was responsible for managing complex technology implementations for global organisations over the last 10 years across Africa, Asia and Australia.
Narisha is highly skilled in designing and implementing enterprise IT strategies including Digital and Business Transformations.
She is a motivated leader who enjoys leading teams through IT delivery excellence whilst maintaining a positive and progressive culture.
She is one of the founding members of the Blockchain Association of Australia with a keen interest in developing innovative digital solutions for the utilities industry through emerging technologies.
Focused on Cyber Security, Narisha is driven to provide a safe and secure digital experience for every NBE customer and staff.
Pieter joined the Next Business Energy team in 2014 to assist with Pricing and Wholesale, moved into the General Manager role in 2016 and is now the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
With over 14 years’ experience in sales and marketing (the last 7 years in online marketing), Pieter is also proficient in people management and analysis. Pieter is able to analyse data, which he uses to challenge and motivate people – and to find solutions and recommendations that will lead to more sales and more efficient operations.
Pieter’s specialties include business start-ups, business growth, strategic customer value proposition development, innovative pricing and product development, wholesale procurement, risk management and marketing (digital or online).
